Since I was a kid I have always loved tarot cards and oracle card readings. I have been reading cards for +10 years, first for myself and then for others. I approach oracle card reading as a way to read energy; what energy is around a particular situation, what energy needs to be released and which ones need be present to unblock a situation. I also use cards a lot for guidance.
I have more than 20 different sets that I read from, using one or another depending on the question and my inspiration. Often, complementing a first set with another one to get more insights on a situation.
This morning I was asking what energy would have to be released to help me manifest my goals. The card I picked was the earthworm.
Earthworm energy is about being shy, tentative, intimated. So the message was pretty clear: want to manifest your goals? Start by shedding the self-doubt and grow your confidence! It is obviously extremely helpful for me (and my clients!) to know what stands in the way of success and to get some pointers regarding best next steps. I have been focusing today on releasing this energy (I will explain in subsequent editions how I release outdated energy patterns).
It is important to know that oracle card readings are points in time. What I mean by that is that next week, after I have progressed nicely on releasing the earthworm energy, the same question will yield another result. And if I am not doing a good job of changing my energy, I am likely going to have the same card or a similar card! This happens to me very often when I am releasing beliefs, patterns and energies that have been engrained since childhood (and usually associated with a lot of fear). Or when I need to go to another deeper level of release.
What happens a lot as well is when an energy in the world is very strong I will see the same card showing up in multiple people’s readings, including mines. This is an indication for me that this is a “top-down” energy that is around at this time. When it is the case it is best to let it pass by, and don’t make it ours (unless it is a great energy, we never have enough of those! ;)).
I love to use oracle card reading when coaching clients too. In my practice, I focus mainly on releasing limiting beliefs and increasing self-worth, as I found that these are the most efficient ways to create sustainable transformation. Oracle cards are very helpful in indicating what would be the best beliefs to let go of (such as my shy, hesitant, intimated earthworm!). Rather than beating around the bush, trying to figure out what challenge at hand is, when I use my cards, I have an immediate bang-on answer and actionable intelligence ;)
